Emily Papadimitriou combined solid pitching and precision batting to lead the Div III team to its 7th straight win of the season against a determined Syndal. Emily went three for three on the day hitting a triple to right field, a single to centre field and a double to left field to end the day with a 1000 batting average!! Safe hits from Wynona Miller, Kate Hopkins, Jess Morrison & Eliza Tivendale sealed Syndal's fate and ensured yet another victory for the Falcons! Special mention goes to Katie Hopkins for her Season 05-06 pitching debut in less than acceptable weather conditions.
Play of the Day
- Ashleigh Gill playing second base for her very first time made a great pick-up on a ground ball followed by a solid throw to first base to secure the second out of the inning!!!
