About Us

Northwood Falcons Softball Club (Falcons) is a long established softball club playing in the Waverley Softball Association in eastern Melbourne. Through the Waverley Softball Association, we are affiliated with both Softball Victoria and Softball Australia.

Falcons provides teams in most age groups from "T-Ball" through to open-age "A Grade". Falcons is a "family club" and we welcome players of all capabilities, and their families, to join us and enjoy the game of softball. We have a number of Waverley, Victorian and Australian representatives playing with us. If you are interested in joining our club, please send us an e-mail with your name and details of how we can get in touch with you and we will contact you. If you are a Falcons player just checking out the results or latest news and have a friend who might like to play, bring 'em along to a game and we will take it from there.

Come and join in with a progressive club which has a charter to provide the enjoyment of softball to everyone who wants to play, to further develop their skills, or simply to watch enthusiastic competition in a pleasant outdoor setting.

The softball season runs from early October through to late March, with an extended break for Christmas & school holidays. Most games are played on Saturday with an occasional midweek evening game. The Waverley Softball Association complex can be found within the Waverley Womens Sport Centre at the corner of Jells Road & Waverley Road (Melway Map 71, K6). The entrance is off Waverley Road.
